Wednesday, October 6, 2010 , 9:01 AM This post is meant for girls (: Menstruation or period is a major stage of puberty in girls, it is one of the many physical signs that we girls are turning into a women! How horrible, we don't want any periods at all! This is so unfair because men don't need to suffer from the pains, we have to. What is a cycle? A girl's 'cycle' is counted from the first day of the bleeding in one month to the first day of bleeding in the next month. Once a month, a tiny egg leaves one of the ovaries inside our body (ovulation) and travels down one of the fallopian tubes towards the uterus. In the days before ovulation, the hormone estrogen stimulates the uterus to build up its lining with extra blood and tissue, making the walls of the uterus thick and cushioned. This is to prepare the uterus for pregnancy. If the egg is fertilized by a sperm, then congrats! You hit the jackpot! Ok crap. However, if the egg isn't fertilized, the blood, tissue, and unfertilized egg leaves the uterus, out of the body! Which is the menstrual period. We have to continually suffer from this pain once every month. Let's do a small calculation, imagining that we started puberty at the age of 13 and menopauses at the age of 45. In between these two figures, 32 years has passes. 1 year has 12 months, which relatively means we have to suffer 12 pains. With 32 years, there are 32x12 = 384 months. With 384 months, you might be pregnant 2 times. So we get 384 to deduct 20 months away for (2 times of) pregnancy, we get 364. Don't forget adding the 2 major pains for giving birth. 364+2=366. Three-hundred-and-sixty-six times of suffering is horrible! For the fact that we still have to spend money on the monthly needs for periods, the medications.. etc. Crap, can't believe some people made it through and survived their life! Let's salute to womens, the honorable womens in all species in the whole wide world! Can't believe I did this, yes, I did this. |
